One Day International

This format of cricket was introduced on later 1970s after the test cricket is modified into limited over cricket. Since the test cricket is played for the five days as a result people have less interest to see it so the over was reduced as a result this format of cricket was introduced. This format of cricket is only played for the only one day and for the international matches it is called as a One day International and shortly ODI. In this format of cricket both the team will played for the one day including the 50 overs to bowling/fielding and 50 overs for the batting. At the starting matches of the ODI matches both the team has the white jersey but after 1979 both team started to have the different and colored jersey. The first cricket match with the colored jersey was WSC Australians with the Gold color vs. WSC West Indians with coral pink. Now days all the ODI matches are played with the colored jersey. In this format of cricket white colored ball is used to bowling and this type of cricket is also played at the night times.
